Delivery & Returns



Orders must be placed by Midday for a next working day delivery. Express deliveries placed on a Friday before 1pm would be delivered on the following Monday. Express deliveries placed on a Saturday or Sunday would be delivered on the following Tuesday. Please provide a mobile phone number so you can receive delivery updates from our courier.

Orders to Northern Ireland are usually sent by Royal Mail or Hermes and can take up to 5 working days. We do not offer an express delivery service to Northern Ireland.  

Standard delivery in 3-5 working days for anywhere in the UK is covered by DPD, our preferred service, or Royal Mail if for textiles only, and is based on weight of parcel.

1 - 3 kg - £4.95

3 - 10 Kg - £6.50

10 - 25 kg - £9.50

For the Scottish Highlands and islands there is a £4.95 surcharge. Please get in touch if you need further information.

Order delivery days are working days which excludes national holidays and weekends mainland UK only.

Delivery Title and Risk
The period stated within which you will receive your order is approximate. Goods will be sent to the address given by you in your order and stated in the Order Confirmation. Please note that your goods may be sent to you in instalments. You may cancel  your entire order with us if subsequent instalments forming part of your order are not delivered by us.

We have no liability to you for any delay in delivery of products ordered to the extent that the delay is due to event(s) that is outside our reasonable control.

Title to any product ordered will pass to you once we have received payment in full for that product. Risk in any product ordered will pass upon delivery to you.


If you would like to return your purchase, simply get in touch with us to return the item(s) within 14 days of receipt.

To be eligible for a return, you must first email us at  with the reasons for return so that we can confirm how we will refund.

Your item must be in as new condition, in the original packaging and in a resalable condition. 

Please include your customer order reference number and your full name.

On receipt of the returned items, we will re-credit the original purchaser’s card with a full refund (excluding your original delivery charge). Please allow up to ten working days for the funds to reach your account.

For your protection we strongly recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service or a courier that will offer you a proof of delivery. Please make sure you obtain a proof of postage receipt from whoever you leave your return parcel with. If your return doesn't reach us and you don't have proof you sent it back to us we won't be able to refund you. Please note, Proof of posting is not proof of receipt and all goods remain the responsibility of the customer until they are received back to us at ThreadBear Design.

We aim to process all returns within 3-4 working days of the parcel arriving in our warehouse. We will issue refunds back to your original payment method (where applicable) inside this time frame and then the processing time is down to each individual bank. Once we have issued a refund we will send you an email confirmation. Please contact your bank if you have any queries after receiving confirmation that ThreadBear Design has issued your refund. 

Postage is only refundable if the item is damaged or defective.


We apologise if you have received a faulty item. Please get in touch within 14 days of receipt to return the item or, where applicable, our team will look into sending spare parts. ThreadBear Design is not liable for damage caused through play or damage by the customer. All products are inspected on return and items that have been damaged or broken through misuse will not be deemed as faulty and may therefore not be refunded in full.
